Intro

• I believe we need more joy, more ruach, more spirituality, more offerings, more song, more opportunities. 
• I believe that perfunctory and classical "traditional" Conservative services will not draw new members into a synagogue and will not draw current members into the sanctuary. 
• I believe that traditionalists can adapt to different offerings--particularly a la carte-- more easily than non-present members and non-members will choose traditional offerings.

As much I as believe all these things, they are not necessarily my personal choices. My interest is in the community's future, not my own.

I also realize that my own experiences of alternative and ruach and sprituality are dated. 25-30 years dated. This blog is a description of what I see and have found.
